Work is always completed quickly but to an exceptional standard. They have created beautiful spaces for our family to enjoy for years to come.
Tree surgery and new fence.
The whole process is great, Simon came and gave us a quote to cut down loads of trees (approx 20) remove an old wall and put a new fence up. Quote was a great price so went ahead with the work, the guys were always there when they said they would be and worked really hard to get the job done ASAP. Where ever Simon could save us some money he did and kept us informed all the way through if there was any changes. Would recommend Low Cost Landscapes, already had them back to do 2 other jobs.
Dismantle and move summer house.
We got Simon and the guys back to dismantle and move our summer house, again the guys were there on time and got the work done quickly and efficiently.
New turf and flower bed.
We got Simon back again to lay all new turf, an edging boarder and a small path with some shingles. Can't fault the guys as you can tell as we have had them back 3 different times now for all the work we have required. All the work was carried out to the high standards as the previous jobs. Can not recommend Low Cost Landscapes enough!
Build of a large Pergola and Summerhouse.
Simon and his team are amazing, they are so polite and dedicated to creating a first class job upon completion. They are very friendly and hugely committed. I am extremely impressed with there service and have already recommended them to my friends! Got 3 firms in to quote (all Checkatrade). Out of the three quoting, Simon was the most convincing. He told us how he builds decks and how that differs to others, also about the materials used. He has a good portfolio of work to back it up. Simon and his team delivered, were tidy workers – even laying down plastic sheeting to protect the lawn - and were happy to discuss changes on the go and address some tidy-up issues on completion. We paid what was quoted, even though some extra boards were necessary, and the job was finished on time. We think our new deck is absolutely fantastic. Thanks.

This was a difficult job to undertake. My fence was completely taken out by a car accident. There was debris: old fence paneling, old posts, gravel boards to remove plus half a ton of the original concrete post ballast that had to be broken out. Simon came round measured up, gave good advice and recommended some additional features. He priced it using top quality materials. The guys turned up as agreed and when I got home that evening, a nice new, plumb and level fence had been installed. It looks fantastic. Simon knows what he's talking about and does what he says he's going to do.

Simon kept me informed on all quotes, checked at every stage I was happy with the work. He turned up exactly the time he said he would. Managed to work around other work we had going on, was very friendly to our nervous child. Finished a huge amount of work within 2 days, tidied up thoroughly afterwards and called a few days later to check we was happy now we'd had a few days to use the garden. I honestly couldn't recommend Simon enough and am extremely happy with the quality of work.

I had had two bad experiences with previous workmen doing fences so was quite wary getting this one done. However, Simon and his team were excellent all round. I had a quote for a new fence with Simon popping round almost immediately and the work was done within a week. Simon and his team were brilliant from start to finish. A tricky install for them because of the way the garden had been laid out by previous landscapers. They were very informative as the job went on explaining any changes that needed to be made along the way due to the layout. They did a great job, gave advice on how to look after the new garden, and worked really hard. They also made every effort to save us money and even took the time to consider our young baby. My fence lost some Panels after storm Eunice, I was worried that I’d have a long wait to get it replaced, but Mr Green and his assistant came out the first working day and did the work in a quick and professional manner, and there was no attempt to try and charge me inflated prices (which would have been understandable considering the urgency!) Thoroughly Professional Job, Highly recommended.

Deck and pathway jet-wash
Our deck was very slippy covered in grime and needed some TLC. Simon has jet-washed the deck and our garden path which was covered in moss. Great job as usual both the deck and path are looking beautiful and the garden is ready for spring. What an absolute gem of a find…Simon and Nigel came today and did a great job of cutting back some seriously overgrown Phormiums as well as giving the garden a general tidy up and removing every last cutting. I cannot recommend Simon highly enough, from initial contact and quote to undertaking the work today, he did all he promised, and more….he will be a regular here now!

I am so over the moon with the work carried out by Simon and his team. Our Garden is completely transformed. I needed a complete strip out but I wanted a gardener to do it properly. Very Overgrown Garden Makeover
S G Green were totally unknown to me before I employed them for a garden makeover, so I felt some trepidation beforehand. Yet, there was absolutely no need to worry. The huge amount of work Simon and Mark did for me on my jungle of a large garden was outstanding and all in a very short time (3 days) and in a heatwave, to boot. I was carefully consulted throughout, they were punctual and tidy, showed considerable knowledge and skill and the price was very reasonable. I don't have a bad word to say about them and would recommend them to anyone.
Cut back trees & tidied front & back gardens
Simon & his team did a great job with the gardens. He is thorough, efficient & works very hard. I have always turned to Simon for gardening, fencing or landscaping for many years. I would highly recommend him.
Decking
Very professional, reasonable price. Simon & Danny were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend them to others.
Landscaping turn-out paddocks for horses and fencing
Simon and his team did a great job of creating a dry turn-out area for horses. This involved creating the surface made from equigrids and sand, holding back some mud banks to keep stables dry, putting in new gates and fencing. He is very prompt, hard-working, and comes up with good ideas to complete the job.
My garden is tidy again!
Simon and Nigel attended to trim my plants and hedges, removing a wild rose and ivy. Simon is friendly and hard working efficiently without fuss. He is a tidy worker, removing all waste for us. Nothing is too much trouble. Simon regularly tends my garden and fits us in quite quickly upon request and is reasonably priced. Highly recommended, thank you Simon and Nigel for a job well done.
General garden keeping.
Simon and his team are brilliant: on time, every time; and so very polite. He always communicates well but more importantly does what he says he’s going to do! Can’t recommend him enough.
Hedge cut
100% recommend this company. Simon did a brilliant job of cutting my garden hedge beautifully level and his assistant was right behind him picking up all the branches and leaves. They arrived before the agreed time and worked swiftly and efficiently. Excellent result and an added bonus of being reasonably price! A very happy customer. Thank you.

General gardening
I cant recommend Simon and his team highly enough. They have been looking after my elderly mother's garden this year and are excellent. They are 100% reliable, always on time every time, and are courteous and polite. Simon always communicates the day prior to each visit confirming time of arrival and also ensures that anything additional that needs doing is done, going above and beyond, plus always does what he says he’s going to do. Landscape gardening
This is the third occasion that I have booked Simon for landscape gardening. It would be hard to find a more reasonably priced, competent, hardworking, polite gardener, and team.
Fencing
Simon is a lovely Guy very good at his profession. He and his crew cleared overgrown bushes and cleared the area took all the rubbish. The next day in appalling weather He erected the fence and installed a new gate. He left all the area clean and tidy and did an excellent job in difficult conditions. I would highly recommend Simon and will have him back again for more work in the near future.

Lay sleepers around lawn to separate flower beds.
Simon has done work for us in the past with general garden maintenance. So when we decided to get the sleepers, he was the obvious choice for the job. We were away on holiday when he could fit us in so everything was marked out and discussed prior to the work being done. We left Simon with access to water and electricity for when we were away as he is a very trustworthy man. Came back to a job finished to a very high standard and well within the quoted budget of two days, as he managed to complete it in half the time. Very pleased indeed. 5*
Putting up new fence, landscaping round a pond, concrete base for pond filter and repairing gates
Simon has worked for me on landscaping and fencing jobs for several years. He is very hard working, totally reliable and keeps you fully informed of progress at all times. He comes up with good suggestions and looks for the best deals and solutions for his customers.
Replacement decking
Simon and team replaced a large deck for us and were absolutely fab. There was clear communication throughout and the job was done on time and to budget with Simon being realistic about what was practical but also very helpful about ways to keep costs down etc. He was obviously very knowledgeable and we plan to use his services in the future.

Garden landscaping
These guys are fantastic. Our garden had years of neglect but they came in, got rid of weeds and overgrowth - cut back trees and bushes. They were really knowledgable about the trees/plants in the garden and discussed what was needed. They were incredibly efficient and worked amazingly hard. The garden looks amazing now!
Garden revamp, decking and shed removal
We have used four times now. Simon and his team keeps on surprising how amazing he work is. Friendly, punctual, honest and great value. We are hoping to book him in for more work soon. Very difficult to find a honest and hard working tradesman that won't rip you off nowadays. Simon is the best.

Jet washing my drives and paved areas
Simon and his workmate have worked very hard today in horrible weather and completely jet washed my driveways and paved garden areas. They have cleared all the moss from the ground which was a slippery hazard and it all looks so much cleaner and brighter. I would highly recommend them and they are reasonably priced. Simon and his team are also excellent at house and garage clearances as well as general gardening, mowing, and hedge trimming. They are very friendly and helpful.
New garden fence and gate
Well pleased with the whole service from Simon Green from initial contact to completed job. Simon called around measured up and shortly after advised on a fair price, delivery and fitting date. The fencing and gate was completed on time. The standard of work was very good. This was the second time we have used his company and both times we have been really pleased with the service received
